Introducing the Shift Shop

The Program

I’ve talked before about the importance of balancing your 3 Pillars of Wellness, and the Shift Shop does just that. Over the course of the program, you’ll begin to shift your Mindset, Metabolism, and Movement, to improve your overall strength, agility, and endurance – all things needed not just for a 3-week fitness challenge, but for long-term quality of life.

The Shifts

Here is a look at the breakdown, so you can see the progression through each phase of your 3 weeks.

Week 1:

  • Movement/Mindset: Shorter, 25-min workouts to help you stay focused
  • Metabolism: Focus on a healthy balance of complex carbs, lean protein, and healthy fat

  • Movement/Mindset: As your body adapts to the moves and you get stronger, the workouts change/increase to 35 minutes
  • Metabolism: Begin cutting back on the starchy carbs, while increasing proteins and veggies

Week 3:

  • Movement/Mindset: Higher-intensity workouts, increased to 45 min for the final push through your last seven days
  • Metabolism: Eating very “clean” for optimal fat loss

The Duration

Because the Shift Shop is a 3-week program, just like 21 Day Fix (or any other Beachbody workout), you can do multiple rounds if you wish. I would recommend if you do choose to repeat, that after 90 days or so, you switch it up and do a different workout – you know, to keep the body adapting. :)

The Nutrition

To keep your nutrition on track, a nutrition guide is included to help you plan the perfect balance of the right foods at the right time. You’ll learn how to reduce starchy carbs while ramping up proteins and veggies week by week—so you can stay focused and get your best results.
